Victoria Watson I co-founded The Taunton Community Acupuncture Centre in 2007 and we have been providing affordable acupuncture for the past 17 years. It was a long-standing dream of mine to make acupuncture affordable and available to the wider community in and around Taunton. It's win-win for both me and my patients: not only do patients get acupuncture at a reasonable rate, I see many more patients and further my experience and knowledge of practising acupuncture. I bring my skills, intuition and enthusiasm to my work and am committed to ongoing supervision and training to provide the highest quality of care to my patients.
I graduated from The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 2002 and practice an integration of Tung Acupuncture, Classical Acupuncture, Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine or Eight Principle Acupuncture. This training enables me to diagnose and treat from a traditional Chinese medical perspective.
My extensive and ongoing training includes a wide range of specialist acupuncture courses, including: pain relief, women’s health and fertility, IVF, children's health, skin diseases, asthma, sport’s injuries, mental health, pregnancy, arthritis, migraine, ME, digestive issues, anxiety, depression and insomnia.
I am a fully insured member of The Association of Acupunture Clinicians and as such am bound by strict Codes of Practice. These codes ensure that patients receive the highest standards of professional care during their acupuncture treatment.

Emma Rickards-TilleyI have been practising Traditional and Five Element Acupuncture for 8 years. After completing a 4-year degree course at the famous College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading, I went on to study the treatment of children for a further year gaining a diploma in paediatric acupuncture. Chinese Medicine is an integral part of my life and I am passionate about passing on my knowledge to others. My interest was sparked at the tender age of 17 when I had treatment myself with amazing results. It was at this point I knew I had to find out more. After living abroad for several years and starting a family, it was the right time to come back to the UK and study.
The two different types of acupuncture I use are perfectly matched to bring a holistic therapy as it touches the Mind, body and Spirit. The Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture addresses physical symptoms where as the Five Element Acupuncture heals the Mind and Spirit bringing about the perfect balance and a feeling of wellbeing.

I am also trained in cupping therapy, guasha, moxa, electro-acupuncture and tui na. Over the years I have completed many courses on other aspects of Chinese Medicine including scalp acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, jing fang, trigger points and muscle taping. With my extensive training I am able to provide the best possible care from babies and children all the way up the generations to the young at heart.
